David Lane Joins Mediaspectrum To Lead European Expansion

New Hire Supports Global Innovation for Publishers and Beyond


Feb 12, 2010 — Mediaspectrum, Inc.® today announced the hire of David Lane as the company’s Managing Director in Europe, Middle East and Africa.  In this role, Mr. Lane will further advance Mediaspectrum’s global impact for helping media companies to radically transform their advertising sales, production and editorial operations.

Mr. Lane brings enormous expertise, vision and experience to the company, having previously assisted publishers from around the globe to revolutionize their operating models for both improved efficiencies and substantial new revenue potential. 

He joins Mediaspectrum from IBM Global Business Services where, as Partner and global leader for Publishing, he developed IBM’s business and go-to-market solutions with media clients. During his time at IBM, Mr. Lane worked closely with global, national and regional publishers to transform their traditional business models – moving them beyond incumbent, legacy operations to hybrid environments that combine traditional distributions with interactive online channels.  Mr. Lane was also involved in a number of Mediaspectrum deployments throughout his IBM tenure.  In all instances, he helped clients realize substantial business benefits around the deployment of Mediaspectrum’s platform.
