News & Tech Revisits Mediaspectrum’s Partnership Success with Tribune


Jan 1, 2010 — With all of its papers now live on the Mediaspectrum Ad Sales portal, Tribune continues to increase its small-and mid-sized advertising customer base for both display and classified ad purchases. As reported by News&Tech Editor, Tara McMeekin, “Because of the potential offered by self-service, Tribune is mulling how it will expand the concept to its cable superstation and radio outlets as well.”

More specific to the broader industry initiative, McMeekin goes on to report, “A large part of Tribune’s partnership with Mediaspectrum is in helping to introduce and market the vendor’s Ad Sales app, which underpins Tribune’s platform to other publishers.” Quoting Nancy Works, “We help them [other publishers] go through the revolution of figuring out how to entice a user to self-service and how to change the internal mindset to use a platform that is geared toward their needs.”
